Theme Parks
Disneyland Resort
Anaheim, CA
The Disneyland Resort has 2 theme parks; Disneyland Park and California Adventure Park. Disneyland Park is the Walt Disney Company's very first Theme Park, which opened in 1955 and is the only Park that Walt Disney, himself, saw completed!
In 2001, Disney California Adventure Park opened. Over the years this park has gone through various transitions. Currently, the front of the Park is themed to what Walt would have seen upon his first experience with California. There are several themed areas within the Park; Pixar Pier, Marvel (Avenger's Campus), just to name a couple!
There are 3 Hotels owned by Disney; The Disneyland Hotel (and recently added Villas), The Grand Californian Resort & Spa and Disney's Paradise Pier (currently undergoing transformation into Pixar Place Hotel).
